9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These terms shall be governed by the laws of the Italian Republic. The place of jurisdiction for all disputes shall be the Court of Salerno (Tribunale di Salerno), Italy, provided no other mandatory legal venue applies. Mandatory consumer protection provisions of your country of residence remain unaffected.

2. Categories of Personal Data Processed

a) Server log data. IP address, browser user-agent, referring URL, timestamp, and requested resource. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in operating and securing the website). Retention: maximum 30 days, then deletion or aggregation.

b) Contact form. Name, company, email address, optional phone number, and your message. The data is sent by email to our inbox and is not stored in a database. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to inquiries).

c) Email correspondence. Any data you voluntarily provide when contacting info@eab-compliance.eu. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Retention for b) and c): as long as necessary for the inquiry, then archived for 24 months in line with standard business correspondence practice, unless statutory retention obligations require longer storage.

d) Compliance badge. Websites of EAB Compliance subscribers may display a compliance badge whose image file is retrieved from eab-compliance.eu. When such a page is loaded, the visitor’s IP address, browser user-agent, referring URL, and the time of the request are transmitted to our server and processed as server log data under a). Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in delivering the badge and verifying its legitimate use). The badge uses no cookies and no JavaScript.

3. Recipients and Processors

No personal data is shared with third parties except as required by law or as set out in this section. The following service providers act as processors under Art. 28 GDPR:

• Hosting: Amazon Web Services EMEA SARL, 38 Avenue John F. Kennedy, L-1855 Luxembourg. Servers located in Ireland (EU).
• Email: Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany. Handles our mailboxes and the delivery of contact form messages.

Google Fonts. This website loads fonts from Google servers. When a page is loaded, your browser connects to Google and transmits your IP address. Provider: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, and Google LLC, USA. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in consistent typography). 4. International Transfers

When fonts are loaded from Google, personal data may be transferred to the United States. Google LLC is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, on the basis of the European Commission’s adequacy decision (Art. 45 GDPR). Apart from this, no personal data is transferred outside the European Economic Area.

5. Cookies and Tracking

This website does not set cookies. No analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking technologies are used.

We implement technical and organizational measures (TOMs) to protect your data from unauthorized access, manipulation, or loss. All communication with our servers is encrypted via HTTPS (TLS).
